REIKI ENERGY HEALING
Reiki is a form of energy healing that comes from Japan. It can help with stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. We all have energy flowing through us. Many things can cause this energy to stagnate in the body, maybe through physical injury or even emotional pain. In time, these energy blocks can cause illness, other times due to our stressful lifestyle we can feel depleted or our "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress. Reiki helps to relieve energy blocks and stagnating energy to get the energy system back to a regular flow around the body and enable relaxation, relieve pain, speed healing, and reduce other symptoms of illness.
HORSES KNOW HOW TO KEEP THEIR ENERGY FLOWING FREELY
Horses live in the moment and know how to let go and keep their life energy flowing freely. They will run, shake, jump and move when they need to or seek support from other herd member. Unfortunately many of us don’t have the same ability to remove blockages and keep our energy flowing freely, with our busy and stressful lifestyles it can be easy to become run-down, overwhelmed and anxious.
Reiki is a simple, non invasive, natural healing which is administered through the laying of hands onto different sites on the body to help balance the body’s energy systems to allow for relaxation and self healing.
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit, creating many beneficial effects and provides feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.
What happens during a reiki session?
Our Reiki sessions are carried out in our shelter overlooking the paddock or can be given in the paddock with the horses to involve them directly in the energy healing session, where they will bring their own unique skills. The horses are very draw to the Reiki energy and will often come and hang out during the sessions to receive their own healing or whatever they need in that moment.
Before the session you will need to complete a quick medical history and consent form and we can answer any questions you may have.
During your session you will be asked to lie on a comfortable massage table and covered with a soft, clean sheet.
The practitioner will then place their hands lightly on or over specific areas of the client’s head, limbs, and torso. They will typically keep their hands in these positions for for however long they feel is needed. During this time you may feel warmth or tingling at the area they are treating.
If there is a particular injury, such as a burn, or you would rather not be touched directly, the practitioner will hold their hands just above you.
It is very common to get a bit of a headache following a treatment as the energy flows out through your head. Just drink lots of water and be kind to yourself for the 24 hours following the treatment.

Sessions last Approx 45 min (however please allow 60 min) and cost $80
